ACAMP - (Alberta Centre for Advanced MNT Products)

ACAMP is a not for profit organization that provides specialized services to micro nano technology clients.

NanoFAB - Edmonton

With a primary mandate of education and development of highly qualified personnel, the nanoFAB provides training and first hand experience on nearly all tools and processes offered. Where training may not be advisable or necessary, the nanoFAB offers fee for service sample analysis on a variety of our characterization tools. For industrial projects interested in prototyping of devices, the nanoFAB offers a fabrication processing service.

AMIF - (Advanced Micro/Nanosystems Integration Facility)

The Advanced Micro/Nanosystems Integration Facility at the University of Calgary (AMIF) was officially opened in 2007 to support microsystems and nanotechnology prototyping for academia and industry.

MIF - (Microscopy and Imaging Facility)

The Microscopy and Imaging Facility (MIF) is a world-class university-wide facility housing transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), advanced light microscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM), including single cell force spectroscopy (SCFS), and advanced image processing for three-dimensional electron and light microscopy.

nanoBridge is a pan-Alberta prototype and people development initiative, administered by the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta. The initiative supports early-stage commercialization activities in microsystems and nanotechnology (MNT) by providing funding to Alberta’s academic, institutional and industrial communities to develop new products and processes.

As part of Tech Futures, nanoAlberta is the single most dedicated authority on nanotechnology research, development and commercialization activities in the province.
